Missing Serial # for WordPerfect Office X3 Student and Teacher Edition

Has anyone had the problem on not having the serial number for your purchased software. Dell just wanted to keep giving me the trial version serial number, but of course that does not work because it is not a trial version. I spent 105 with tax on this and now I cannot use it because I can't install it without the serial number. Corel states that I must get that information from Dell because that is who I purchaesed it through. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. It would have been nice if the serial number was actualy on the CD. The software came with another purchase and was only in a sleeve and not any type of case.
