Windows 10 Desktop search box

Where on the desktop is the Search the Web and Windows box? I saw a reference to it, but I can't find it? Inspiron 7000 Series, Windows 10 Home

You can use Cortana to search the web. You can also right click the Start's button at the left bottom of the page. You'll see the search option.

It's normally located on the bottom left, next to the Start Menu button, but it seems like you might have hidden it by accident.

To show the search bar, right click on an empty spot on the task bar, go to Search (at the top of the menu) then select 'Show search box'.

If your search box only says 'Search Windows' and not 'Search the Web and Windows, then you need to enable that from the settings: Click inside the search box, then click on the little cog icon to get to settings. Under 'Search online and include web results' toggle to 'On' & all your future searches should show web results as well.
