No sound in Flash Player videos (such as YouTube)

I'm using Google Chrome browser on my brand new Dell Inspiration laptop with Windows 10, with Realtek Audio driver.  When I start a video on YouTube (or other Flash Player videos, such as test videos), I hear a half second of sound, then the audio cuts out, while the video continues to play.  I've checked to see if Flash Player is up to date, and it seems to be handled automatically with Chrome browser.  I also tried the Edge browser and have the same experience (video with no audio).

Any suggestions? Thanks

Google "Flash No Audio WAVEMAPPER" for directions, its been covered a bunch, but basically requires running REGEDIT and readding the WAVEMAPPER key to the appropriate location and value in the registry. Its not as difficult as it sounds.
