Updates 5/16/18 - CCleaner (Chrome fixes), Firefox
Remark: This "minor" build (from x.6495 to x.6499) apparently makes changes that only impact CCleaner's treatment of Chrome... the "major" build remains at 5.42
CCleaner v5.42.6499 (16 May 2018)
IMPORTANT FIX FOR CHROME
Browser Cleaning
- Fixed a critical issue where very long float values were saved in scientific format, causing the Chrome profile to be lost
- Fixed a critical issue where systems using non-standard decimal separators caused data to be stored incorrectly, causing the Chrome profile to be lost

.
Either be careful to UNcheck any pre-checked offers for bundled programs/toolbars (unless you really want them)... or else, wait a few days until the
SLIM build is released.

Surprisingly, the Slim build of 6499 is available today (first time I can recall this happening). The last build of Ccleaner never did release a Slim build - I figured maybe they had eliminated it along with other recent hijinks. I'm happy to report this latest Slim build contains no unwanted add-ons or pre-checked options.
