just received my new Dell XPS 3890 desktop today. When trying to uninstall the McAfee LiveSafe program, it reported that LifeSafe completed but peronal firewall failed.
I went to the Dell # for the premium support I purchased and after being on for about 30 minutes I got cut off. I knew I should not have paid for that premium support.

IMPORTANT: If your McAfee product came preinstalled on your PC:
Activate your McAfee subscription before you try to remove your product. This is so that you keep your right to use the product (license) without having to buy a new subscription.
To activate the McAfee software that came preinstalled, see TS102477.
Click Yes, Continue, or Run (depending on your version of Windows):

Did you mean XPS 8930?
Go to McAfee's site and register your subscription first. That way you can download and reinstall it again for free, if you change your mind.
After registering, go here and follow the instructions to uninstall McAfee, both step 1 and step 2.

I used Revo Uninstaller Pro to remove it from a new Dell Inspiron 15 laptop last year. Got rid of it as I use the built in Windows Defender.
I think Revo has a "trial" version.

The solutions, in this 5 year old thread still apply. Have you tried one or both?
