Nice to see the addition of anti-rootkit technology and support for other browsers. A top Online Scanner IMO.

Nice find, RD.

I'm a big fan of NOD32, and its online scanner.

During the pre-scan set-up, it offers one the option to "Remove found threats", which is checked by default. I would suggest anyone running this scan  as a routine for a second opinion (in the absence of problems) uncheck this option, lest a false positive detection of an important file result in problems by its removal or quarantining.

If, on the other hand, you are running this because because your own AV is not working and your PC has problems, leave it checked.

I like that the pre-scan set-up notifies one of other defensive software that might conflict with an online scan (it calls them all "other antivirus software" but in my case it included Windows Defender, my resident NOD32, and my Comodo firewall which does not include the AV) as a reminder to disable all resident AV and anti-spyware scanners prior to running an online scan. I suspect it incuded Comodo because the latest suite versions include an AV by default, which needs not be installed.

It also detected ClamWin, a standalone AV, which would not conflict with NOD32's online scan, (unless one tried running both at the same time).
