is it possible to swap the hard drive from my broken toshiba satelite to my dell inspiron 1521
the hard drive from the toshiba is a W.D. BLUE 320 GB please help im a noob doing this and do not want to mess up my dell its been faithful
both dell and toshiba have win7

Hi Danniray,
If both systems are running Windows 7, then it's very likely the hard drives are both 2.5" SATA drives. However, you would need to reinstall Windows. Your Toshiba drive will not work as is in your Dell laptop.
