Using a bluetooth usb printer adapter (IOGEAR) with Dell Photo Printer 720

Can a bluetooth usb printer adapter, such as IOGEAR's, work with the Dell Photo Printer 720?

I keep getting errors saying that the printer isn't connected or that the printer won't work without usb cables, but everything is plugged in.

I've recently bought myself a bluetooth usb adapter to use with my 720 printer, and am getting the same error. It says the device is not connected. If you, or anyone else discovers a solution please post it here. Thanks.

I believe there is no solution. The Dell printer driver will only work if it can detect the printer first, and the only place the driver is designed to look is at the PC's USB ports.
