Unable to Create Wifi Hotspot with Dell Drivers on Windows 10
I am unable to start Wifi Hotspot on my Windows 10 Home 64bit PC. I have the Dell Inspiron 3543. When I'm using Windows 8.1 it is working correctly but after upgarding it dosn't work. I tried using CMD prompt, external softwares like OsToto Hotspot, MyPublic Wifi, My WIFI Router, no one works.
Additionally I don't have Microsoft Virtual WiFi/Hosted Miniport Adapter listed in the Device Manager under Network Adapter. (Also I selected Show hidden devices)
I have Internet Connection Sharing enabled for my Ethernet connection.
STEPS/TROUBLESHOOTING
1. Re-installing Windows didn't help.
2. Error messages I got in the softwares I used.
a) OSToto Hotspot: "The wireless card is not found 1. Check if the wireless is turned on. 2. Is wireless adapter driver installed?"
b) MyWifi Router: "Fail to start your Wifi hotspot. Error 1002. Computer's wireless card does not support wireless hotspot creation.
c) CMD Prompt: The hosted network couldn't be started. The group or resource is not in the correct state to perform the requested operation.
3. I tried doing netsh wlan show drivers, it gave me this. I don't understand why it shows Hosted Network Supported as No. Because I used to get WiFi hotspot on Windows 8.1 and 10 on my laptop before.

HGUJRAL
I have the same problem, I own Dell inspiron r17 5720
Hosted network supported : No
But when I had windows 7 and 8.1 installed
Hosted network was supported.
I hope the Dell support could help us out with this already.

I contacted Dell a hundred times but it doesn't work. Also contacted Microsoft but it also don't work
At last My own troubleshooting solved my problem.
I just go to device manager, select my wifi driver (Dell Wifi Driver 1704 something), right-clicked it and go to update driver, then go to Browse files on this computer, after that at the below its displaying view all driver files on this computer, I clicked on it and selected another driver named "Broadcom wifi driver 802.1 something instead of Dell wifi Driver I installed this and restart my laptop. Now I can create hotspot with any software.
My Wifi, Wifi Hotspot working fine now !
