GPRS Modem settings

I am trying to use my Nokia 6310i to connect my c600 (running win 2000) to the internet via GPRS. The GPRS settings on my phone are OK as I can browse the internet on the phone. I am using the infrared connection as my c600 has no bluetooth. This connection seems to be working OK, the phone is recognised by my laptop & I can use it as a normal dial-in modem. I have the correct settings for the GPRS dial-up connection from the Service Provider, but when I try to dial the GPRS connection number I get the 777 error message telling me there is a problem with the modem. Any ideas?

Choose Your Nokia modem in Control Panel and on one of tab You'll find Advanced, now You should write AT commands. For ex. in Poland in Era GSM I must wrote: +cgdcont=1,"IP","erawap" to connect to WAP and +cgdcont=1,"IP","erainternet" to connect to Internet
