Displayport to HDMI adapter does not work
I just bought a Displayport to HDMI adapter, I tried to connect it to my Dell monitor, but it started turning on and off and making wierd sounds, the screen is still black. Every time I connect the adapter it just goes black. Can anybody help me??

The PS4 Slim Pro has an HDMI out port.
The cable you bought is designed to ONLY do the opposite of what you need =
Device DP out port --> DP to HDMI adapter --> Monitor HDMI in port
The P2210 can only do 1680x1050. To connect it to the HDMI out of the PS4 Slim Pro, you would need a HDMI to DVI cable. But no audio through that cable.
My advice, get a different monitor that has an HDMI in port.

We need more data before we can troubleshoot;
* What specific cable did you purchase?
* What specific Dell monitor model?
* What specific PC computer?
* What specific video card/GPU is in the PC computer?
* List all of the video out ports on the PC computer or installed video card/GPU

The cable I bought is a Black Standard DisplayPort DP to HDMI 1.4 Adapter with Audio support 3D for ATI, my monitor is a Dell P2210, my idea was to connect my PlayStation 4 Slim Pro to the monitor.
Thank you.
