USB ports STOPPED working!!!

Hi, all of my USB ports stopped working. I have a 9mth old Dell Inspiron 5759 with Windows 10 and all updates. In DEVICE MANAGER, it shows all USB drivers as up to date and running correctly. Have though about uninstalling/reinstalling them but were do i get the replacement drivers or will Win10 automatically see they're not there?

If i plug in my MP3 player it is not recognized at all and won't charge/sync. DEVICE MANAGER shows it as an unsupported device and says "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28). A service installation section in this INF is invalid. To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver." To my knowledge, the device does not have a specific driver and Sony does not provide one. I have never needed one previously.

If i plug in my phone I can charge but not sync. In DEVICE MANAGER, it shows as my phone like normal and says "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19).

Online, searching "Code 19" seems to apply to CD/DVD drives and mine will now not play CDs and I cannot see it in Win Media Player but I can see it in File Explorer and click on it but nothing plays. Music on my hard drive plays normally.

Any help anyone can give is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
