New Inspiron 15z Ultrabook™ --> does a stylus pen work with the touch screen?
I'm strongly considering purchasing the New Inspiron 15z Ultrabook™ (i7, 8gb, NVIDIA 630M video card) touch screen.
I've researched serveral websites, but there is no definite answer whether or not a stylus pen would work on this touch screen laptop.
My main use for this laptop would be for school. To get the typing done but also the stuff you can't do such as drawing, and making a table in a fast motion.

Yes you can use stylus pen with this system.
15z has 15.6" LED-Backlit LCD Capacitive Multi-touch screen, so you can use Targus Stylus with this system which Dell recommends. For further help you can click on the below mentioned link:

I recently tried www.amazon.com/.../B004GCJEZU with a 15z touch and they do not work well at all. You have to use significant force to get them to register where they work excellently on our ipad/iphone/htc phone. Dell seems to have stopped selling their own device, if someone knows of a better stylus, suitable for drawing I'd love to hear it.

There are two variants of the Dell inspiron 15 namely, Inspiron 15(5521), Inspiron 15(3521). So I would request you to share the correct model number so that I can help you further.

hi prateek, can u guide me, i baught dell 7000 series laptop,tht is 7537 model, if i want to use any stylus pen, is it workable or not..

As per information available on the Inspiron 7537, stylus pens do not work with the same though the systems are available in both non-touch and touch options.

No - a stylus requires a tablet screen, not a touchscreen. They're very different things.
There are some convertible notebook-tablets - this isn't one of them.

Stylus does not work in this, The stylus brand I used is - onn , is a tagrus stylus only recomended

I have a Dell Inspiron 17 and I want to use a stylus on the screen for drawing so I purchased a Dell Active stylus 55N1N 750-AADH. I was told this stylus would work but it does not work, I checked the battery and it is good. It came with only a few pictures as to how to use it,
Will this stylus work or is there another one with the fine point I can use?
