Does anyone know any problems between the D-Link Airplus Xtreme G Wireless Network card and a Dell Inspiron 1150 Notebook PC ??

all i know is that this card (probably) does NOT work in the Inspiron 5100.
Try before you buy

OK great .. I have my inspiron 1150 now and it seems to work fine .. no problems. Thanks for the response.

I have the d-link air plus card and the di624 card and it has worked perfectly on my inspiron 5100..

D-Link AirPlus DWL G650 works OK on my Inspiron 7500 with one exception: the card seems to overheat which leads to either freezing the laptop with no recovery, or shutting it down into apparent hibernation with no recovery. Can only manually force a power-down, then power up to recover. The problem occurs ONLY when the AirPlus card is plugged in and live. I have sent report to D-Link support to ask their counsel in case problem lies on card side and I am now browsing this forum in case it lies on laptop side.
