NVIDIA GEForce 7300 LE

Just received my XPS 410. I have a ViewSonic VA1912wb monitor. I'm unable to set resolution to recommended 1440 x 900. Have tried updating drivers for both with no luck. Anyone have any other idea? Thanks.

Have you tried changing the resolution from your graphics card control panel?

Nvidia in my opnion just doesn't get it when it comes to driver resolutions...i am having a simular problem trying to get my 7900GTX to obtain 1680 X 1050 my monitors native resoultion....

Never seen this with ATI cards...they seem to understand how to write thier drives for the newer resoultions on the market today...

Thanks, yes, I have tried changing it in the control panel, but that is not a resolution that is available.

Alright have you updated the latest nVidia driver. I've found the later ones to be much more helpful and simple. You can download them here.

It has been very, very frustrating. Yes, I have downloaded the most current drivers. Guess, I should've just purchased a different card.
