OME 1.2/1.2.1 Hotfix (Optional)

This may impact OME users who manage servers via the iDrac.

OME issue related to iDrac v1.50.50+

• A change in iDrac 1.50.50 and later had the side effect of OME missing inventory data in some tables. This might cause the following issues
o OME users who update their f/w to 1.50.50 or later may not be able to use the system update feature using iDrac as update method
o Some of the blade servers may not get correlated to the server sub group in the chassis

Installation Pre-requisites
=============================================================================
This hotfix can be installed on any 1.2 version of OpenManage Essentials,
it should not be installed on any other version of OpenManage Essentials.

Issues fixed in HF1001.1.2
=============================================================================

* A change in iDrac 1.50.50 and later had the side effect of
missing inventory data in some tables. This might cause the following issues

- OpenManage Essentials users who update their f/w to 1.50.50 or later
may not be able to use the system update feature using iDrac as update method
- Some of the blade servers may not get correlated to the server
sub group in the chassis

This hotfix addresses these issues and will restore the above functionality
for the iDrac Firmware 1.50.50 and above.

* The hotfix also eliminates some of the false system up/down internal alerts
generated by OpenManage Essentials for certain devices.

Additional Information

* After installing HF1001.1.2 the "About" box in OpenManage Essentials console
will show additional row for hotfix version to confirm the hotfix is installed.
(you have to hold your mouse over the version number to see the hotfix version)

* After installing HF1001.1.2, re-run discovery task on all the discovery
ranges to make sure connection status for all the devices is determined accurately.
