Note: The Chromebook does not have the ability to download and install printer drivers, attaching a Printer to the Chromebook using a USB cable will not work.
Printing Documents
Note: The Dell Chromebook does have Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides preinstalled.
Option 1: Saving the document as a PDF to a Flash Drive.
Insert a Flash Drive into a USB port on the Chromebook.
Click the icon in the lower left-hand corner.
Select Google Docs, Google Sheets or Google Slides.
Edit the document as desired.
When done editing the document, Click File and then Print, a message about being able to save the document as a PDF or online may appear, if so click OK.
Click Change under Destination.
Click Save as PDF under Local Destinations.
Click Save.
From the list select your Flash Drive.
Change the name of the file as desired, and click Save.
Note: The document can now be printed from a computer or service that has a connection to a printer.
Option 2: Printing the document to Google Cloud Print.
Click the icon in the lower left-hand corner.
Select Google Docs, Google Sheets or Google Slides.
Edit the document as desired.
When done editing the document, Click File and then Print, a message about being able to save the document as a PDF or online may appears, if so click OK
Click Change under Destination.
Click Save to Google Drive or Print to Fedex Office.
Note: If this is the first time you are using the Google Cloud Print service, click Setup, click Add Classic Printer or Add Cloud Ready Printer, and follow the instructions.
Click Save.
Change the name of the file as desired, and click Save. For more information refer to:
Option 1: Saving the Picture to a Flash Drive and Printing Directly from a Printer.
Insert a Flash Drive into a USB port on the Chromebook.

Select Camera.
Take a new picture and then click Gallery or just click Gallery to access an existing picture.
Double-click the picture you want to print.
Click the Save to disk icon.
From the list select your Flash Drive.
Change the name of the file as desired, and click Save.
Note:
The document can now be printed from a computer or service that has a connection to a printer.
Many Dell All-In-One Inkjet Printers has a PictBridge Connector (it is also the USB port), that allows you to print directly from a Flash Drive. Refer to the Printer's User Guide for more information.
