Setup

1. Insert the USB connector as shown in Figure 3.

   Note: The receiver only goes in one way. When the connector does not seem to fit, adjust the angle or flip it over.

   ---

2. Wait for windows to install the 'USB2.0 Hub' drivers.

   ---

3. Browse to the Wired Mouse with Fingerprint Reader - MS819 driver page.

   ---

4. Touch or click Download to the right of Ultramarine (MS819) Fingerprint Reader Driver.

   ---

5. Touch or click Run.

   ---

6. Touch or click Continue.

   ---

7. Touch or click OK.

   ---

8. Touch or click OK.

   ---

9. Touch or click Yes.

   ---

10. Touch or click OK.

    ---

11. Double touch or double click the folder in the window that opens.

    ---

12. Touch and hold or right click the file to the left of Setup Information, and then select Install.

    ---

13. The User Account Control window may appear, if so, Touch or click Yes (you should get a message that the operation completed successfully).

    ---

14. Make sure the computer has a password setup or give it one.
    1. Touch or click the Start icon.
    2. Touch or click Settings.
    3. Touch or click Accounts.
    4. Touch or click Sign-in options.
    5. Touch or click Add or Setup under Password.
       Note: When a password is already set-up the option will read Change under Password, in that case proceed to Step 16.
    6. Input the new password, confirm the password and give yourself a hint.
    7. Touch or click Next.
    8. Touch or click Finish.
    9. Restart the computer (it may take some time to reboot as new features are being installed).

15. Login to the computer using the new password just set up.

    ---

16. Setup Windows Hello process.
    1. Touch or click the Start icon.
    2. Touch or click Settings.
    3. Touch or click Accounts.
    4. Touch or click Sign-in options.
    5. Touch or click Setup under Fingerprint.
    6. Touch or click Get started.
    7. Follow the prompts provided.
       Note: When you get a message that something went wrong, restart the computer and try again.
    8. Once the set-up is complete, you will be prompted to set up a PIN.
    9. Touch or click Set up PIN.
    10. Enter you computer account password, and then touch or click OK.
    11. Enter and confirm your new PIN., and then touch or click OK.

Troubleshooting

1. Disconnect and then connect the mouse USB cable to the computer.

   ---

2. Disconnect the mouse USB cable, and then reconnect to another USB port.

   ---

3. Restart the computer.

1. You must have a password setup before you can setup a fingerprint.
   1. Touch or click the Start icon.
   2. Touch or click Settings.
   3. Touch or click Accounts.
   4. Touch or click Sign-in options.
   5. Touch or click Setup under Password.
      Note: When a password is already set-up the option will read Change under Password, in that case proceed to Step 2.

2. Remove registered fingerprint.
   1. Touch or click the Start icon.
   2. Touch or click Settings.
   3. Touch or click Accounts.
   4. Touch or click Sign-in options.
   5. Touch or click Setup under Fingerprint.
   6. Remove.

   ---

3. Register your fingerprint again
   1. Touch or click the Start icon.
   2. Touch or click Settings.
   3. Touch or click Accounts.
   4. Touch or click Sign-in options.
   5. Touch or click Setup under Fingerprint.
   6. Follow the prompts provided.
      Note: When you get a message that something went wrong, restart the computer and try again.

1. Browse to the Wired Mouse with Fingerprint Reader - MS819 driver page, to download the Intel Online Connect (IOC) and SGX Platform Software for Windows (PSW)
