Create identity pools
Identity pools are recommended, but not required. Virtual identity pools are used with server templates to automate network onboarding of computing sleds. Perform the following steps to create an ID pool.

Steps
1. Open the OME-M console.
2. From the navigation menu,
click Configuration, then
click Identity Pools.
3. In the Network panel,
click Create. The Create Identity Pool window displays.
4.
Type Ethernet CNA into the
Pool Name box.
5. Optionally, enter a description in the Description box.
6.
Click Next.
7.
Click to select the
Include Ethernet Virtual MAC Addresses option.
8. In the Starting MAC Address box,
type a unique MAC address (for example, 06:3C:F9:A4:CC:00).
9.
Type 255 in the
Number of Virtual MAC Identities box,
click Next, then
click Next again.
10.
Select the
Include FCoE Identity option if using FCoE.
11. In the Starting MAC Address box,
type a unique MAC address (for example, 06:3C:F9:A4:CD:00).
12.
Type 255 in the
Number of FCoE identities box for FCoE scenarios.
13.
Click Finish, then
click Finish again.
