Improperly handling the USB-C cable of the DA305 and DA310 adapter might cause following failures.
- The adapters do not detect the dock and USB devices when they connect to the laptop.
- USB devices display partial or intermittent functionality when they are connected to the laptop.
- The adapters network (Ethernet) port may not work.
- The adapters video port fails to work or is only partially working.
- USB devices that connect through the adapter fail to work correctly.
- Any movement of the USB-C cable impacts the functionality of the port.
- The USB-C cable or USB-C plug shows visible damage.
Improperly plugging the USB-C cable to and from the port on the laptop can cause USB-C cable damage.
The correct handling of the adapter is to plug it into the mobile device with the adapter supported on the same surface and without any bends or twists to the USB-C cable.

Note: Ensure that the USB-C connector is fully seated.
Caution: Excessive bending and twisting may damage the USB-C cable or shorten the devices working lifespan and durability.
