Symptoms

Nota: Apenas os notebooks com leitores de impressões digitais instalados são afetados.

Cause

A Broadcom lançou as versões atuais do driver ControlVault no catálogo do Windows Update. Esses instaladores de pacotes incluíam uma assinatura digital que expirou em 26 de setembro, causando uma instalação incompleta do pacote.

Resolution

O driver ControlVault afetado foi rebaixado do catálogo do Windows Update.

  1. Faça download do driver e firmware Dell ControlVault mais recentes na página Drivers e downloads da Dell.
    • Para Latitude 5x50, 5440, 7x50, 9450 2 em 1 e Precision 3480, 3x90, 3x91 e 5x90:
      • Faça download do driver e firmware Dell ControlVault3 mais recentes (6.0.47.93 ou posterior).
    • Para todos os outros notebooks Latitude e Precision (consulte a seção Sistemas compatíveis na página do driver):
      • Faça download do driver e firmware Dell ControlVault3 mais recentes (5.14.15.22 ou posterior).
  2. Siga as instruções do instalador para instalar o driver. Para fazer download e instalar o firmware, consulte Como fazer download e instalar os drivers Dell.
  3. Reinicie o computador para aplicar as alterações. Verifique se o problema foi resolvido.
