Symptoms

Lorsque le logiciel d’analyse Tenable analyse le port 9083, le processus de gestion à distance de PowerPath avec mTLS activé échoue, et finit par atteindre le nombre maximal de connexions de socket et le message de réinitialisation de la connexion par homologue est consigné.

 

Sur l’interface graphique PPMA, l’état Déconnecté n’est pas détecté avant le cycle d’interrogation suivant. Lorsque le cycle d’interrogation s’exécute, le serveur finit par s’afficher comme déconnecté dans l’interface utilisateur (ROUGE).

Cause

Il s’agit d’un problème lié à la gestion à distance de PowerPath for Windows 7.2.X avec mTLS activé qui ne gère pas correctement les connexions Winsock à partir d’un serveur non PPMA.

 

Resolution

Le correctif sera inclus dans la prochaine version de PowerPath for Windows, mais il n’y a pas d’ETA pour le moment.

 

La solution de contournement consiste à redémarrer le service « EMC PowerPath Remote Management component » à partir des services Windows.
