Improving the Sound Quality of the Alienware Gaming Headset AW520H, AW720H, or AW920H

Users of the Alienware Gaming Headset AW520H, AW720H, or AW920H may experience poor sound quality. This can result in an unsatisfactory listening experience.

Affected Devices:

• Alienware Wired Gaming Headset - AW520H
• Alienware Dual Mode Wireless Gaming Headset - AW720H
• Alienware Tri-Mode Wireless Gaming Headset - AW920H

The cause of the sound quality issue may be due to the audio playback device being set to either AW520H Chat mode, AW720H Chat mode, or AW920H Chat mode instead of AW520H Game mode, AW720H Game mode or AW920H Game mode.

To enhance the sound quality, select AW520H Game mode, AW720H Game mode or AW920H Game mode as the playback device.

1. Left-click the speaker icon in the taskbar.
2. Click the arrow up to display all available playback devices.
3. Select the Headphones A520H Game, Headphones AW720H Game, or Headphones AW920H Game option.
