While it is possible to perform a generic device search on the VMware Compatibility Guide, remember that many variants of the same device can exist.

To ensure you are using the best driver possible and understand the minimum required firmware for that driver, you should use the PCI ID information.
To obtain the PCI ID - obtain a SupportAssist Collection from the IDRAC.

You can open the zipped archive, access the folder 'tsr' then open viewer.html
 

  1. From the summary page of the SupportAssist Collection, scroll down to 'PCI Devices' then locate the required device.
