Avviso importante
  1.  L'appliance utilizza VMware vSphere 6.7 come virtual infrastructure per eseguire il software di protezione, il backup e le VM di gestione.
  2. A partire dal 15 novembre 2023, VMware versione 6.7 ha perso tutto il supporto di VMware in quanto la sua fase di indicazioni tecniche è terminata. VMware ha annunciato la fine del supporto generale (EOGS) per vSphere 6.7 il 15 ottobre 2022 e la fase di indicazioni tecniche fino al 15 novembre 2023.
  3.  Dopo questa data di fine della fase EOGS/indicazioni tecniche, non ci saranno modifiche al modo in cui Dell fornisce il supporto completo dei prodotti per tutti gli appliance IDPA e serie DP nell'ambito del supporto standard. Eventuali Service Request di appliance IDPA o serie DP (inclusi i problemi relativi a vSphere 6.7) sollevate dai clienti verranno gestite dal supporto tecnico Dell, come di consueto.
  4. Le versioni 2.7.4 e 2.7.6 del software PowerProtect DP Series contengono vSphere versione 7.0. Si consiglia di eseguire l'aggiornamento a queste versioni al più presto. 
  5.  Ricordiamo che gli aggiornamenti apportati al software vSphere senza utilizzare le versioni software pubblicate della serie DP possono comportare guasti del prodotto e invalidare la garanzia del prodotto.
  6. SOLO per supporto: Rivedere il nuovo processo e le procedure descritte nella sezione Note interne per coinvolgere VMware DE(GSE) per assistenza sugli appliance IDPA e serie DP contenenti vSphere 6.7
