Cause

The Red, Green, Blue, Infrared (RGBIR) hybrid sensor displays an interference symptom when warm light conditions have a high level of Infrared (IR) energy. It would cause some saturation loss and color accuracy drop.
The camera sensors are trying to adjust the color based on the lighting in the environment. These adjustments cause darker colors with a blue or purple hue. This tinting is normal behavior for RGBIR hybrid cameras.

Resolution

This is not a hardware issue. This is an expected behavior of the design.

Replacement of the camera does not improve image quality. These Red, Green, Blue, Infrared (RGBIR) Cameras are used throughout the computer and information technology industry. RGB IR cameras support biometric security features including Windows Hello Face recognition. Some systems may have a firmware update to modify the purple or blue tint.
To modify the purple or blue tint, update the camera firmware using the Dell Camera Firmware Update Tool. To check if the tool is available for your system, check if tool is listed under the "Mouse, Keyboard, and Input Devices" category in the Dell Drivers & Downloads page.
