Cause
The Ethernet port stops working due to a power-saving setting enabled in Realtek LAN Controller.
Resolution
Disable Realtek USB GbE Family Power Saving.
Follow these instructions to modify the Power-Saving settings on Realtek USB GbE Family Controller.
- Open the Windows Device Manager.
- Go to Network Adapters.
- Double-click Realtek USB GbE Family Controller.
- Click Advanced tab.
- Under Property, click Idle Power Saving.
- Set the Value as Disabled.
- Click OK.
