Apple has made significant changes to the way software vendors can interact with the operating system starting with macOS Big Sur (macOS 11). Updating the Netskope client to Netskope Client Release 78 is required for compatibility with these updates to macOS.

Netskope Client Release 78 supports macOS Big Sur. Netskope Client Release 78 supports both Kernel Extensions (used on macOS Catalina [macOS 10.15] and earlier) and Network Extensions (macOS Big Sur). Netskope Client Release 77 and earlier only use Kernel Extensions which are not supported on macOS Big Sur.
