Symptoms

De integratie van NetWorker VMware Protection (NVP) wordt geconfigureerd met de vProxy-appliance. De back-ups van de virtuele machine (VM) slagen er af en toe niet in om de bron-VMDK van de VM te openen met het hotadd-transport. De geplande uitvoering van de VMware Protection Workflow heeft invloed op verschillende VM's tijdens elke uitvoering.

Er worden 100 VM-back-upsessies uitgevoerd op het vCenter. Extra VM's kunnen in de wachtrij worden weergegeven.

Cause

Er zijn te veel gelijktijdige hotadd-sessies tijdens de geplande uitvoering van de VMware Protection-workflow.  In het gedeelte "Performance and scalability" van de Dell EMC NetWorker VMware Integration Guide worden minder dan 100 gelijktijdige back-upsessies per vCenter Server aangeraden.

Resolution

Verminder het aantal gelijktijdige hotadd-sessies tijdens de uitvoering van de geplande VMware Protection-workflow door vProxies te verwijderen of de beschikbare hotadd-sessies per vProxy te wijzigen.
