Symptoms

Alienware Aurora R13 and Alienware Aurora R14 may have software issues while running applications within Windows 10. Also, users who opted for Windows 10 during purchase, do not find Dell drivers for Windows 10.

Cause

The Alienware Aurora R13 and Aurora R14 are designed for Windows 11 only. These models do not support Windows 10.

Since the systems are designed for Windows 11, the Dell Support Site, Dell Command Update, and Dell SupportAssist do not contain drivers for Windows 10 for the Aurora R13 and R14.

 

Resolution

 

If you are running Windows 10 or downgraded to Windows 10 on the unit, then you must upgrade to Windows 11 for all suspected software issues.
