Check if the chipset driver is installed by looking at Device Manager (shown below). Install the Intel chipset update from the Dell Support Website or by inserting the Dell Resource DVD. If you are installing from the DVD, choose:

Check if the Intel Management Engine Components Installer driver is installed by looking at Device Manager (shown below). Install the Intel Management Engine Components Installer update from the Dell Support Website or by the Dell Resource DVD. If you are installing from the disc, choose:

Check if the video driver is installed by looking at Device Manager (shown below). Install the video driver update from the Dell Support Website or by the Dell Resource DVD. If you are installing from the disc, choose:

By default, Windows installs a generic audio driver for the system from the Dell Support Website or the Dell Resource DVD. If you are installing from the disc, choose:

Windows 10 > Audio Drivers > Realtek High Definition Audio driver.

Check if the WLAN driver is installed by looking at Device Manager shown below. It will show an exclamation mark on Network Controller. For this example, we're using the Intel Dual-Band Wireless-AC 8260 card. The Intel Dual-Band Wireless-AC 8260 update from Dell Support Website or the Dell Resource DVD. If you are installing from the disc, choose:

Windows 10 > Network Drivers > Intel Dual_Band Wireless - AC 8260 driver.

Check if the WLAN driver is installed by looking at Device Manager shown below. It will show an exclamation mark on Network Controller. For this example, we're using the Intel Ethernet Connection I219-LM Controller driver. This device can be updated from the Dell Support Website or the Dell Resource DVD. If you are installing from the disc, choose:

Windows 10 > Network Drivers > Intel Ethernet Connection I219-LM Controller driver.

Note: Windows 8.1 comes with the ethernet driver in its operating system and can detect the ethernet device without going through the drivers' installation process. Despite this, Dell continues to supply both drivers in the Dell Resource CD.

Check if the Bluetooth driver is installed by looking at Device Manager shown below. For this example, we're using the Intel Wireless Bluetooth device. The device can be updated from the Dell Support Website or the Dell Resource DVD. If you are installing from the disc, choose:

Check if the Bluetooth driver is installed by looking at Device Manager shown below. For this example, we're using the Realtek PCIe CardReader device. The device can be updated from the Dell Support Website or the Dell Resource DVD. If you are installing from the disc, choose:

The unknown devices in Device Manager could also stem from chipset driver not being installed. If you encounter such issue, please make sure that the Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Driver is being installed properly:
