Cause

Dell EMC PowerEdge 第 14 代服务器引入了一项硬件信任根安全功能，需要使用系统主板中嵌入的证书来验证固件映像。从 iDRAC9 4.40.40.00 开始，必须在固件映像中验证新的硬件证书才能应用于 iDRAC。较低版本的 iDRAC 固件映像不包含最新的硬件证书映像。

Resolution

为了将 iDRAC9 降级到 2021 年 2 月之前的固件版本，iDRAC 将首先要求降级到 iDRAC9 固件版本 4.40.10.00。此固件版本将支持旧版硬件信任根证书，并允许降级到较早版本。
