Instructions
Connect to the Control Station SSH.
In order to view the interfaces attached as CIFS or NFS , apply the below command:
$nas_server -i -v <VDM_Name>
Example:
migadmin@nla3v1stor003 ~]$ nas_server -i -v PROD_VDM
id = 1
name = PROD_VDM
acl = 0
type = vdm
server = server_2
rootfs = root_fs_vdm_PROD_VDM
I18N mode = UNICODE
mountedfs = Prod_Perf,Prod_Space,Prod_Perf_2,Prod_Perf_3
member_of =
status :
defined = enabled
actual = loaded, active
Interfaces to services mapping:
interface=Prodperf :cifs
interface=nl0123nas0001_390 :cifs
interface=nl0123nas0002_390 :cifs
interface=Prodspace :cifs nfs
The above example shows Interface Name "nl0123nas0002_390" is attached as CIFS only, and Interface Name "Prodspace" is attached as CIFS and NFS.
To attach the same CIFS interface as NFS apply the below command:
$nas_server - vdm <VDM_Name> -attach <Interface_Name>
Example:
migadmin@nla3v1stor003 ~]$ nas_server -vdm PROD_VDM -attach nl0123nas0002_390
id = 1
name = PROD_VDM
acl = 0
type = vdm
server = server_2
rootfs = root_fs_vdm_PROD_VDM
I18N mode = UNICODE
mountedfs = Prod_Perf,Prod_Space,Prod_Perf_2,Prod_Perf_3
member_of =
status :
defined = enabled
actual = loaded, active
