In this video, you'll learn how to set up triple monitors for your Alienware desktop and configure display settings for both AMD and NVIDIA graphics cards. Follow along to connect the monitors, use the NVIDIA Control Panel or AMD Software Adrenalin Edition, and adjust display arrangements.
In this video, we’ll go over how to set up triple monitors for your Alienware desktop, and configure display settings for AMD and NVIDIA graphics cards. Start by connecting all the monitor video cables to the computer. Locate the available ports on your graphics card.
These might include DisplayPort, HDMI, USB-C, or DVI. Make sure all monitors are connected to the graphics card, not the motherboard. Once all monitors are connected, power on the system so you can configure the display settings. If you have an NVIDIA graphics card, right-click on your Alienware desktop and click on “Show more options”. Select “NVIDIA Control Panel”.
Go to “Set Up Multiple Displays” section and confirm all three monitors are being identified. Here, you can select which monitors to use and drag the display icons to match the physical arrangement of your monitors. If you have an AMD Radeon graphics card, you need to set up AMD Eyefinity to combine the monitors into a single large display.
Right-click on your Alienware desktop and select “AMD Software Adrenalin Edition”. Once inside the software, go to “Gaming” and select “Display”. Under the “Eyefinity” section, click on “Quick Setup”.
This will group the monitors into one single display. If the arrangement isn't quite right, you can adjust it under display arrangement. If you have any questions, contact us via one of the options on our support website so we can assist you.
