How to Remove the Motherboard on Alienware 17 R3

This video will demonstrate the removal procedure of a Motherboard for Alienware 17 R3.

In this video, we'll go over the steps for performing a part replacement on your Dell PC. First, unscrew and remove access door. Then disconnect battery cable. Now unscrew and remove solid state drive. Now unscrew and remove wireless bracket. Then disconnect antenna cables and remove wireless card.

Now disconnect cables from motherboard. Then remove Palmer screws. Now separate and turn over palm rest. Now disconnect and remove palm rest. Next, remove rear hinge screws.

Then disconnect cables from motherboard. Now unscrew and remove display assembly. Then disconnect motherboard cables. Now unscrew and remove motherboard. Once replaced, your PC should be ready to be used again.
