To remove the memory modules. Unlatch the base cover. Lift the side cover from the chassis. Pry the retention tabs to release the front bezel. Slightly pull the front bezel and gently rotate to release. Identify the hard drive caddy. Remove the hard drive power and data cables. Release the hard drive caddy from the tabs on the chassis. Slide the hard drive caddy out of the system.
Remove the cables from the routing points on the cage. Slide the lock towards the left to unlock the cage. Lift the cage upwards and detach. Flip the cage. Disconnect the power and say to cables. Lift the cage away from the computer. Identify the memory modules. Pull the tab and open the memory module door. Pull the securing clips from both sides of the memory module. Lift and remove the memory module from the slot.
To reinstall the memory modules, slide the memory firmly into the slot. And press the memory module down until it clicks into place. Close the memory module door and press down till it clicks. Connect the power and say to cables. Flip the cage. Push the cage until the assembly.
Slide the lock towards to lock the cage. Route the optical drive's power and data cables. Reinsert the hard drive caddy. Plug in the cables. Relatch the front bezel. And relatch base cover to the system.
