Turn off the system by using the operating system commands or the CMC.
2. Remove the system from the enclosure to access the jumpers.
3. Move the jumper on the system-board jumper from pins 2 and 3 to pins 1 and 2.
4. Install the system in the enclosure.
5. Turn on the system.
When the system is turned on, power indicator turns on to solid green. Allow the system to finish booting.
The existing passwords are not disabled (erased) until the system boots with the password jumper on pins 2 and 3. However, before
you assign a new system and/or setup password, you must reinstall the password jumper back to pins 1 and 2.
NOTE: If you assign a new system and/or setup password with the jumper on pins 2 and 3, the system disables the new password(s) the next time it boots.
6. Turn off the system by using the operating system commands or the CMC.
7. Remove the system from the enclosure to access the jumpers.
8. Move the jumper on the system-board jumper from pins 1 and 2 to pins 2 and 3.
9. Install the system in the enclosure.
10. Turn on the system.
11. Assign a new system and/or setup password.
