Connecting your tablet to your wireless network is pretty straightforward. This video will assist you in setting up a wireless connection for your tablet and how to do some simple troubleshooting in case you have issues for a wireless connection.
To bring up the wireless settings from the home screen, swipe down from the top right-hand corner. This will access the “Settings” charms. Tap “Settings” to bring up a list of wireless and network options. Verify the toggle switch for Wi-Fi is set to “ON”. Look for your desired network from the list and tap to select.
You may choose to cancel or connect to the network. Type in your network password into the password field if required, and then tap “Connect”.
If you’re having trouble connecting to your network, here are a couple of things you can try. While troubleshooting wireless issues with your tablet, you may want to check if “Airplane Mode” is turned on.
From the main screen, swipe down from the top right-hand corner to get a list of charms. If the airplane charm is blue, tap to disable it. When disabled, the icon will turn gray.
Now, try connecting. If you're still having issues, try forgetting the network. Go to the clock on the upper right-hand corner of the main screen and drag down.
Tap on the “Settings” charm and then tap on “Wi-Fi”. Tap the network you want to forget and then tap the “Forget” button. To re-enable a network that has previously been forgotten, look for the desired network from the list and tap to connect.
