DELL SCV3020

Hi for a few days now I have been receiving repetitive information alerts on my scv3020 storage and I cannot understand if it is a problem or something else. thanks in advance to those who can help me understand. below I post some screenshots of my storage that may be of help.This is information alert:Alert normalized on controller 290506 for object internal ref Global
ProgressionTime Some Data Progression features, such as RAID Rebalance,
may not run properly because the controller's clock skew is too great.
Configure time settings to resolve.

Ok, so this kind of error could be fixed if you synchronize the time of the controllers. To do that open the DSM and select Summary tab, then click on the link edit settings, select time settings and synchronize the time. Please, check all these settings (NTP and Data progression).

 

From that moment on your data progression will work as expected.


Please let me know if you need further support, and I will be happy to assist.

If the problem persist. You can to change to NTP server or check the NTP server. if your NTP does not work for you you can revert to manual and sync the time is you see that is not in sync. You can use an IP address in case your DNS is broken or not in sync. This could help. But that would be a problem outside of the Compellent itself.
