PowerEdge T320 - iDrac Faulty

Good evening,

I need support for my PowerEdge T320 -
The server was up and running for 7 year without any problem.
Last evening, I had to transfer the server in a new location. And power down it the evening before the transfer.
After power on, the iDrac was not responing in the boot phase and the speed of the fans was really high.
The iDrac light in the back is blinking with amber color.
The error message is this SWC0700: iDrac is not ready. The configuration cannot be accessed.

I tryied to power down it for 5 min, remove power cables, press the power button for at least 30 sec. No Luck
Pressing the iDrac button in the front of the server for 30 sec. No Luck
Excute some commands from windows cmd that DELL support told me when I have done the phone call for support. No Luck

The Support told me that 99% is needed a new motherboard for the server and my T320 is out if warranty.

Windows can boot up pressing F1 but the fans speed make impossible to stay in the room with customers.

Can someone help me about this problem?

Thanks

Hello @massmagic,

Yes. After all tests you have done: clear flea power, reset iDRAC,... it's more probably that you need to replace the iDRAC. As the iDRAC is a component embedded on the Motherboard. You will need to replace this component to be able to fix the problem.

What country are you writing us from? If the server is in Italy I can collect all the information to create a quotation and sent it to the quotation department.

I am sending you an email requesting some more info.

Regards.
