Support on Mouse: no service tag

Hi,

A mouse I bought few months ago doesn't work anymore. There is no service tag, only a model number for mouses, so there is no option to contact the support. Also tried to call them, but the technician just could find what to do as I didn't buy a full computer with its service tag.

How is the warranty supposed to work for accessories?
