Realtek 6.0.9025.1, A03 audio driver update removes audio from XPS 13 9300

Dell Update passed me the Realtek audio driver update to version 6.0.9025.1, A03 (release date 09 Oct 2020). After restarting my laptop, I find I've no audio at all. Red 'x' on the Start bar fires off a troubleshooter that notifies me there's no audio device attached. Bummer. Windows Settings'
