XtremIO sizing for 1000 VDI with 50IOPS per user?
Is it possible to configure a X-Brick 20TB for 1000 virtual desktops if per user the values are as following:
50 IOPS, 2 vCPU and 4GB memory, 24GB image size.
The point is about these 50IOPS per user. Performance based, could we propose only one X-Brick to support these configuration?

Trying to understand why you would want a 20TB brick?
1000 users at 24 GB per user would be 24TB at a 10:1 reduction assuming full clone persistent desktops you would need 2.4TB of capacity which is a starter X-Brick 5TB of raw capacity. This assumes the customer is performing good maintenance of zeroing disks and space reclaimation.
1000 users at 50 IOPS per user is 50K IOPS even at 100%write is well within the limits of a single X–Brick.

You mean performance will be good for 1000 users at 50 IOPS, independently of the size of X-Brick?
Concerned the user data, what is the best solution? User data on a VNX or an Isilon system? what is the key differentiator to choose one or the other file storage?
