XPS L502X network card

I'd like to upgrade my network card. It's getting flaky and has to reset every time I start the laptop. The original cards are not available new, just used online.

Any ideas on which newer cards will work. I'm running windows 10.

Picture of current card.

You may have trouble finding a brand-new card that will work, as most new systems use M.2 cards.  Your system takes the older PCIe format, which is physically incompatible with an M.2 card.

Before buying hardware, you may want to try reloading the drivers for your current card -- remove the existing ones, reboot and load the latest driver for the card you have.

If you do need a replacement card, just about any half-size PCIe network card with two antenna inputs should work.

Welcome to the Dell Community @dcgayhart

The N6230 would be a good choice as your support page has drivers for that card.

It is 2.4 / 5.0Ghz and Bluetooth 3.0.

Best regards,

Just bought a new "Dell Latitude E5440 E5540 E7240 E7440 WiFi Wireless Card 08TF1D 8TF1D 7260HMW" on E Bay. Should have it installed later next week. My other wireless devices run slow on the 2.4 wireless and fast on 5.8. almost by 10 times. Go figure?

New network card is working great! Getting speed at the other end of my house over 100 Meg, formerly under 10 Meg if it worked at all.
