You cannot turn it off. This "Secured with Dell SafeBIOS" at the Dell POST splash screen is by design and is being adopted within all systems and added in all BIOS updates. It is simply a cosmetic message for the end user that the current system BIOS is secured by Dell.

@Willaby "and would greatly prefer this message not display."
They have already stated that it will be displayed going forward.

Yes, it's possible to turn off the cloud base verification.  But, only business would spend extra cost to protect their asset devices.  You must get your company permission for IT admin to turn it off.

I just want to turn off the message.
what is the purpose of such a message. To remind me that I have a dell super secure bios ??!?.

Dell SafeBIOS is a collection of capabilities that help prevent BIOS attacks, detect potential compromise and respond by alerting IT if irregularities are found. Dell integrates post-boot BIOS verification into its commercial PCs, giving IT the ability to verify the health of BIOS across the fleet.  Rather than storing BIOS information on the hardware itself, which leaves it susceptible to corruption, Dell SafeBIOS uses a off-host, secure cloud environment.

Simply put, the utility gives companies insights into whether their workers' PCs are secure. IT departments can use Dell SafeBios to monitor if an attack has compromised BIOS on a worker's PC and then responding to stop the attack.

I understand . Thank you . You don't understand my question. I just want to take the message  off the bios screen on start up .

"Secured with dell SafeBIOS"

I've been getting this mesage  after the bios  upgrade .I don't want to be informed every time by the same message.  On my xps 13 plus bios is slow and looks ugly from the start. When we add a new message on the screen,It doesn't get any better or faster. It looks like an advertisement. I put the old bios back on to turn it off.

I am fairly sure that @Chino de Oro is missing the point

These are our personal laptop, not work machines. I am the owner, there is no "owner's server". This annoying message just started appearing after updating the firmware to 2.8.0

We do not want a random "Secured with Dell SafeBIOS" appearing above the XPS logo when the machine is turning on/off

The original query from OP was, Is it possible to turn of ?  And the respond comment was Yes.  That was based on instructions I have learnt from installation and administrator guide.

Subsequent question from OP was, what is the purpose of such a message?  Hence a short description response, but one can learn more from Dell SafeBIOS datasheet  https://www.delltechnologies.com/asset/en-us/products/security/technical-support/dell-safebios-datasheet.pdf

If you found the provided information was incorrect, you could help providing the proper answers to OP questions instead.

Owner's server was a generic description and should not have taken in context.  Better description can be viewed from this illustration diagram.

Maybe then it's better to rephrase the question. Also, I can't answer OP, because I am having the same problem (which is how I found this discussion in the first place). After a random BIOS update, this message appears. Is it possible to revert the change, and only have a relatively clean "XPS" boot screen?

If it was an unintended setup, just simply uninstall the utility.  The user performing uninstallation must be a local or domain administrator. If uninstalling by command line, domain credentials are required.

* Uninstall from Apps & Features:  In search box on the taskbar, type Apps & Features.  Select Dell BIOS Verification then click on Uninstall.

* Uninstall from the Command Line:  wmic path win32_product where (Caption like "Dell BIOS Verification") call uninstall

@Chino de Oro I don't even have such a program installed. As I've already said twice, the text just started appearing after a bios update, without any changes happening to the operating system. As a matter of fact, I don't even have windows installed (nor have I ever had it on this machine).

today after installing this update, My system crushed and start saying "Secured with Dell SafeBios" with XPS logo, I thought It went in to safe mode automatically. and when I plugged my charging adapter it does not charge the laptop jut showing that it is connected. I had to restore to default the bio system during Bios at first starting screen. Now its charging but the things is that the logon with "Secured with Dell Safebios" is still there in screen.  By the way Its my personal Computer not of any company.  About few months back My system update was not working and crushed but my PC was really working fine and fast. I dont need to update my PC i think.

I'm on a Dell Precision 5470 and have exactly the same issue. After a BIOS update I now get this 'secured with dell safebios' message every single time on startup. It is also a personal workstation.

@user_fa2b66 not the same issue

Also, @Chino de Oro That is no solution, it's a workaround. And rolling backa bios update is not even a good workaround. Guess we'll have to wait
