Difference between docking station wd19 and wd19TB

Hi,

I have a dell xps 15 9500 and always have used a WD19TB docking station. It always worked perfectly until my screen frequently started to become black for a second and then turning on again, wich is very annoying. Anyway I bought a new one but I bought a WD19 instead of a WD19TB (looked over it).

The problem: My two screens used to run at 2560x1440 (DP and HDMI), now I get 2560x1440p out of one screen but the other is maxed at 2048x1080p. According the documentation it does need to work I think? I see there can be two monitors connected with a max resulution of 2560x1440 at both of them. Or am I missing something? thanks in advance!

The T means Thunderbolt -- without it, it's just a USB dock.  You need the TB model if you want to drive two high resolution monitors, so return the WD19 for a WD19TB.  It's also possible (probable) the issue is with the system -- not the docking station.
