Dell XPS 13 2 In 1 won't power up

My Dell XPS 13 2 in 1 has sat on my desk untouched for about 5 days. I've come to use it and it won't power up.

There is an orange light on the front which is full and gets brighter when I press the power button.

I tried the M + power and that hasn't done anything.

The only other light is on the power cable. No lights on the keyboard, nothing from the screen, no whirring noises for a fan, nothing!

The laptop was working perfectly 5 days ago.

I've had the unit for about 3 months.

Welcome to the Dell Community   @Morrisonaj

Hold down the “ D “ key and power-on.

The laptop should go through an LCD test of solid White, Red, Green, Blue and Black 2 or 3 times.

After completion it should try to automatically boot 2 or 3 times.

Post your results and exact model number of the laptop.

Best regards,

U2

Did it again with power cable in and orange light has come back on. Unplugged power cable and light still on.

I've received a private message saying can't find the laptop details and so I sent the service tag and express number over getting a message to say message not delivered, checked my private message and nothing there.

Held down D+Power and now the orange light has gone off and nothing has happened.

I did that without the power cable in.

It's a XPS 13 2-in1 9310
