XPS 8700
I need to replace a PSU. PSU model is D460AM – 02. REV:01. can someone please help with a replacement. What will be compatible with DESKTOP XPS 8700 series?

But, a standard ATX power supply is compatible with your XPS 8700. Check the unit with 140 mm depth, it will fit exactly as your OEM power supply.

If it is a good name brand ATX psu that has 24+4 white pin for motherboard and 6/8 black pin PCIe as well as sata power connectors it should work for XPS 8700

@Chino de Oro of nappreciate your recommendation and I did purchase a power supply from a link you provided. This power supply is not compatible with the system I have. The connection from the power supply to the mother board on my system is 4 pin. The recommendation link you supplied has a six link pin. I was disappointed. So please do not utilize this link for the future. It is I correct

@Bianchimia , both of 6GXM0 and HMCPC are ATX power supplies, They use 24-pin for motherboard power, not 6-pin. You may have mistaken a 6-pin PCIe graphics card power connector for 4-pin CPU (processor) power.
To know for certain, if you can verify the DP/N on the power supply to see if seller may have sent a different power supply by mistake.
