XPS 8930, WiFi card, antenna issue
I changed my case and power supply for better airflow and cooler temperatures. But at the top, there were two wires(coming out of wifi card on the motherboard). They were soldered to a very small metal(which was attached to the top). Now with this new case - I have the barebone wires. I tried twisting the wires and put on that two small antenna (one white and another black wire - each twisted and attached to the antenna) but speed I am getting is almost 20% what i was getting in the past. Bluetooth is not working. What do you suggest?
I have PCIe X 4 slot remaining and i can buy PCIe wifi and Bluetooth adaptor like this:

That card should work with a couple of caveats. That is only a Windows 10 64 bit supported card. And you need a 9 pin USB 2.0 connection for the cable that runs from the adapter to the MB. I don't think the 8930 has a 9 pin port but rather a proprietary port.

Yes you are right, I am not able to find the USB header on this mother board near the PCIE X 4 slot
So I can buy this card:
https://www.amazon.com/Ubit-Wireless-Bluetooth-MU-MIMO-Ultra-Low/dp/B07XM6XZ1F
which works on Windows 10 as well as Linux but I won't be having the Bluetooth at the first place, right?
I have the atennna wires like this now.
When I tried connecting those two metal strips to them-no impact and I get a variable speed from 45 MBPS to 180MPBs using these two wire who's ends are chiseled so that they can act an antenna which is coming from this card
What are my options - I have slower wifi and no Bluetooth after this transition to new case.

Correct, no Bluetooth but the antennas come with the WiFi card so you should see fast and stable speeds.

@ashutoshsharma -Why not just get a USB>WiFI+BT dongle and plug that into a standard external USB port? No fiddling with slots, antenna wires, etc, etc needed.
Lots of choices for frequency (2.4 and/or 5 GHz), link speed, antennas, price, etc. And lots of recent reviews here, and here and here, etc.

Wifi USB dongles are not good....even with this arrangement of my antenna wires hanging out of the Case, I am getting good speed but not very stable good speed.

Here is the speed I used to get in 2019/2020
and now
Bluetooth is not at all working.
Wifi - I can get at the most 36 MBPS. I have Spectrum's internet at 400 MBPs but getting only this speed. This speed is almost 12% of the speed that I used to get on this computer. Upload speed is around 29% of what I used to get it in the past.
In some other forums, I have been suggested to get these products:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZV2CJL2
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B085LB5Y8M
For wifi and Bluetooth.
What do you suggest? Mine is a two-storey house and the router is upstairs. There is no Ethernet port in my office so an Ethernet cable based connection is not possible.

I think the two pieces of metal the wires were soldered to are the antennas.
The wires out of the card are only that.

I put this in from amazon
DUP PCIe Wifi 6 Network Card Bluetooth 5.1 Heat Sink Dual Band AX 3000Mbps AX200 802.11AX Wi-Fi Device for Desktop PC with OS Windows 10 64bit
disabled the killer wifi, and left the Bluetooth on from the killer. couldn't really find nor did i look for the pins it said to connect to from the new card. It was slow, so I also added antennas that could sit on my desk.
it kicked in. above 500. I got to over 700 once in awhile. I have 1200 service from xfinity.
Once in awhile, the Killer adapter turns back on.
But I also bought an ORBI Router. Buy this. Buy a router that cover more SFT than you need. YOU also need a wifi 6 to take advantage of that card you baught i believe.
