XPS 8910 SE CPU upgrade question
XPS 8910
Hi. First time poster. I have an XPS 8910 SE with an I-6700 CPU, 64g RAM, Nvidia GTX 750TI and stock PSU. I see them for around 125.00. Is it possible to upgrade it the I7 6700K? Thank you for any help you can give.

Yes, you can upgrade the CPU to an i7-6700K.

@lvpta The i7-6700K will work but the Dell BIOS is limited in its overclocking features so in my opinion it is not worth the effort or expense.

Some users reported that they got better performance gains with Intel XTU than using overclocking settings in Dell bios. Just remember to reset CMOS after installing a K-CPU to gain access to performance settings.
